Red Mist (2006-07)

Some time between mid-2006 and late-2007, an rerun of the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Fear of a Krabby Patty" took a much darker route as the channel feed was hijacked by an as of yet unknown individual. In spite of an odd lack of news coverage of the event, I've managed to track down a recording of it as it occurred live. Notably, it spawned a horror story explaining the origin of the footage shown as it coming from an ex-animator from Nickelodeon Animation Studio themselves. I call bullshit on that one.
