Bizarre Freezing Issue

So for some reason after a freeze and hard power off of my iMac G3, I get this glitched sounding bong and nothing happens after that. I suppose the RAM could be going bad, because being un-plugged for a day or so usually fixes it. The only other issue I experience is solely because I am running MacOS 10.4 on an unsupported Mac, which causes the internal speakers to pop with any sort of bass that's pushed to them. I don't know though, this could be because of that.
